Verdict

A moderate affair in which Comic Tales is recommended ahead of First Among Equals and Secret Vision. This does not look to be the strongest of divisions and while Comic Tales might be better over further, the track at Southwell is running so slow that there is every chance that he might get home. First Among Equals has obvious form claims on some of his turf efforts. This is only a third start on the all-weather so there is a chance of some improvement on what we have seen thus far. Secret Vision is in fair nick at the moment without winning. Brett Doyle appears to get on well with her and she does have winning form on the all-weather. Axis Shield's recent form is nothing to write home about although she is a previous winner at banded level at this track. All Clued Up is another to drop in the ratings and is watched the market. Eternally has ability although glimpses of it have been fleeting and there is an absence to overcome. Comic Tales is hardly bombproof as a betting medium, but there are more positives than negatives and we side with him accordingly.
