In depth

Verdict

Come On Laurie has leading claims on the back of a couple of placed efforts including a second at Towcester last time. But SEEDLING looks to have the stronger form having only failed by a length to catch Wilde Blue Yonder at Newbury on his latest start and Charlie Egerton's charge is taken to open his account in this. Truckers Steel won a bumper here but was well beaten over track and trip when third on his hurdling bow and Glowinginthedark went close at Carlisle before his modest fourth at Towcester. Point-to-point winner Mountain Cliche makes his debut under Rules and is another to keep an eye on along with hurdling debutant Paradise Valley.
