        Verdict

        KIPCHAK just failed to catch Count Bertoni over a mile here last week. Versatile as regards trip, Conor Dore's charge had earlier scored over 1m3f at this track and he gets the vote to return to winning ways on today's favourable terms. Lucayan Dancer has a bit to find with the selection on latest running but should finish closer to him over today's more suitable distance, while Eton Fable has the beating of Sir Haydn and won't go down without a fight. My Mate Mal makes most appeal of the remainder though he'll need to step up on his recent form to trouble the principals.
