Verdict

BURNSWOOD is the call with Cross Compliance and Bench Warrent also likely to have their followers. Tony McCoy has elected to ride the Charlie Egerton charge ahead of the Jonjo O'Neill runner and this decision looks good enough for us. The form of his Kempton debut looked particularly smart at the time but was franked on Friday by Dee EE Williams. Cross Compliance has had experience around here. It would be no surprise to see him come on for the run. Bench Warrent has joined Charlie Mann after running with credit in Irish points. The market is watched accordingly. Blue Dark can be expected to build upon a couple of solid efforts in bumpers. Carl Llewellyn has had a quiet start to the season but Free World had bits and pieces of form in hot bumpers last term. Galaxy Spirit was beaten in a couple of moderate bumpers but of more interest could be Star Lord. Well touted ahead of his debut for Tom George at Aintree, he was probably unfortunate to run up against a useful sort of Alan Swinbank's on the day. Bob 'N' You was well backed ahead of a Taunton event last April though more will be required here. A good maiden by the track's standards and Burnswood looks the best.
