Verdict

LE MANEGE ENCHANTE gave notice a return to winning ways was imminent with an earlier neck defeat here and duly scored by a wide-margin over course and distance last time. A 4lb penalty is unlikely to anchor him in this and Derek Shaw’s charge should confirm running with the placed horses Robsdelight and Six Til Twelve. The latter has the more scope of that pair while Meshardal finished third when last over track and trip but three-time course winner First Excel continues to struggle. Our Charlie Brown was due to run at Lingfield yesterday.
