      Verdict

      Petrol won a lowly handicap at Wolverhampton but never threatened under a penalty back at the same track last time. Linroyale Boy finished runner-up over track and trip before his well-beaten third over a longer distance here but is too inconsistent to have much faith in. HONEST STRIKE looks more likely to run his race after his latest second to Corn Maiden over course and distance and he gets the vote. Sacco D'oro has won twice over hurdles but is without a win in 27 starts on the Flat and the remainder are even harder to fancy.
