In depth

Verdict

Course specialist DUBAI HILLS made it five wins from six starts at this track when scoring over course and distance earlier this month. Bryan Smart's charge has been hit with a 10lb rise in the weights for his five-length victory but still gets the nod now he's proved he stays the trip. The Lock Master couldn't live with him last time and is doubly engaged with an entry at Doncaster today while Docofthebay was due to run at the same track yesterday. Caldercruix may figure but Frontier Fighter is in the form of his life and followed up an easy win at this track with an equally impressive victory at Wolverhampton a week ago. He looks the main threat to the selection ahead of Dr Red Eye.
