Verdict

Mercurious and Doctor John should be the two fighting it out at the finish in the finale and we will side with Mercurious. The selection ran really well here last time out when second behind Magic Red. The step up in trip should suit and as he is proven on this surface he looks the one to be with. Doctor John was well beaten last time but he had previously run well on this track and he will certainly relish this step up in trip. He is likely to give our selection plenty to do but he may just have to play second fiddle on this occasion. African Dawn looks the best of the remainder but he has been a little below-par of late and we will return to Mercurious as our idea of the winner.
