Verdict
King Forever is top on ratings and should account for Velvet Touch and Chairman Rick. The son of Kings Best was highly tried when with Jeremy Noseda and has been allocated a notional BHB rating of 69. He clearly has had some problems and isnt the most straight forward of rides - that said, he is unlikely to ever get the chance to race against so many exposed or moderate types. Velvet Touch would have plenty to do on the book but it is interesting to see Chris Catlin aboard. He is a maiden after 24 starts but runs relatively consistently and did not disgrace himself over six furlongs on his last visit. Chairman Rick was narrowly behind King Forever when they met at Doncaster during the last turf season. A habitual slow starter, there has not been too much betting activity in his favour in recent weeks. Cooleycall Star is another long standing maiden. His is partly explained by a long absence from the track. Andy Juckes did have a winner last week so the market is monitored on this occasion. Dannatt and Chingola have both been on the end of large margin reverses and look difficult to make cases for. Seven Shirt is exposed under both Flat and National Hunt codes. A poor race in which King Forever is chanced at unappealing odds.
