Verdict

LUCK OF THE DRAW returns from a short break after landing his hat-trick at Lingfield early last month. His previous two wins came on this surface, he'll be suited by today's longer trip and Sir Mark Prescott's progressive gelding can continue his winning ways. A rejuvenated Eseej bids for his third win in a row, but has never won off a mark this high and two previous attempts over today's distance resulted in heavy defeats. C&D winner Shifting Gold is not without a chance and Calculating is fancied to make the frame once again.
