In depth

Verdict

There's no doubting Prophete De Guye is in good heart at the moment but this looks as if it has come too soon after scoring silver in tough race three days ago so instead we make preference for OSCAR OWEN while Ticket To Ride could share some of the prize pot. The selection wildly improved for handicap company last time out landing a surprise victory at odds of 50/1. He's up five pounds for that but won going away suggesting that he has more to offer. Prophete De Guye's latest effort came over fences and after narrowly missing out on gold returns to life in this sphere off a mark eight pounds lower. The concern will be that he has never won off a rating this high over timber but on these terms is entitled to go well. Ticket To Ride has been nothing if not consistent over fences recently and is potentially really well treated on the pick of his hurdles form. Shergill would be another to consider despite still being a maiden but the vote belongs to Oscar Owen.
