Verdict

Only five run in this handicap and of those it is KILLARD POINT who makes the selection ahead of It's Like That and Brave Jo. Veteran Killard Point was a winner at Lingfield last time out. He has previously won over 3 miles before but showed a drop in trip was not a problem and his proven stamina allowed him to seize the initiative a long way from home. He has dropped to a handy mark and should have a sporting chance here today where he is re-united with jockey Andrew Thornton who has an excellent record on him. 10-year-old It's Like That also won last time out but the race fell rather kindly to him. He is improving though and is capable at this level. Brave Jo is the only other horse in this race who really looks like producing something. The gelding is making a return to action having not run since last November. His last win came here back in August and he'll appreciate the run. Dunbrody Millar and Flying Grey are the other runners but neither stake a claim so for the winner we return to Killard Point.
