Verdict
With five of the eight runners out of the handicap this doesn't look a contest to go overboard with and Blue Boars is just the tentative selection as he bids to translate his good recent all-weather form to the turf and is selected ahead of Rare Coincidence and Let It Be. Steve Gollings' gelding is arguably better over slightly further however he travels well in his race and having won over this distance before, he looks sure to go well if there is a decent pace. That pace may come from Border Tale who likes to race prominetly and this dual performer shouldn't be underestimated if gifted an easy lead. He has won off a much higher mark in the past so looks a danger. Let It Be returns from a break and is the pick of the Keith Reveley Pair. Danielle McCreery has started this apprentice series well and her mount looks a live danger. Love You Always has shown his best form on turf but there are slight doubts over his stamina for this trip so he is opposed, and we will return to Three Boars as the selection.
