        Verdict

        Came Back comes here chasing a hat-trick but he may not get an uncontested lead with The History Man and Mistral Sky in the lineup and so we will side with Maison Dieu as the selection. Eric Alston's four-year-old impressed when scoring by a head at Southwell three weeks ago and a 6lb higher mark makes life a little trickier but not impossible. He makes his all-weather debut today and he should be involved in the finish if handling the surface. Mistral Sky is consistent and this six furlongs is his optimum trip so he can go well but may find at least one too good, whilst Came Back has very obvious claims but isn't the best drawn although he certainly knows how to win. The History Man makes his all-weather debut today and looks on a feasible mark, whilst Winthorpe is on an attractive mark and can go well from his plum draw. In open affair Maison Dieu is taken to score again.
