Verdict
Mr Chocolate Drop has been running creditably of late and has to be respected but his form on the all-weather is all at Southwell and it remains to be seen how he handles the Polytrack so preference is for Doctor Ned, who gets the vote ahead of Hayley's Flower. The last mentioned is less exposed than most of these and warrants respect but does need to improve on all known form. Machinate has claims on the pick of his form but is inconsistent, while Tomorrow's Dancer is lightly raced but is hard to back on all known evidence. Similar comments apply to Telling and a safer option looks to be Doctor Ned, who was good value for his win in a selling handicap at Folkestone earlier this month and he is taken to follow up.
