      Verdict

      COUNTERMAND has leading claims on today's terms. He ran well enough for fifth in a Class 3 handicap at Kempton recently and should go close if handling the surface. Miss Giler also makes her debut on Fibresand but is a frustrating type and drops further down the weights while Rebel Collins, a runner-up in a couple of bumpers, has yet to figure in this code. Burner may improve for this longer distance but the remainder have shown no worthwhile form as of yet.
