        Verdict

        Roger Thorpe should be in the mix once again. He has finished ahead of Excelling Oscar the last twice and was also in front of Miss Lillie when third here on New Year's Day. The latter has since gone close when runner-up at the track while Rockwood arrives on the back of a win at Wolverhampton and is upped 4lb. But BERKSHIRE BEAUTY (NAP) posted her best effort to date on her debut on the Fibresand when second to Thello over track and trip and Andrew Balding's excellent strike rate at the track suggests she can go one better in this.
