Verdict

The hat-trick chasing Sudoue is hard to oppose in his current frame of mind and he is selected ahead of Bill Bennett and To Be Fare. It would also be dangerous to completely rule out Liquid Lover, who goes well at this course and there will be many who will fancy that his turn has to come around at some point. Still, he is running out of chances and his claims may be best limited to each-way options. To Be Fare is 2lb better off with the selection for a neck beating from the last time they met. And has to be considered as a big threat today. He is arguably still open to improvement at this level and should go well. However, Sudoue has the elusive ability to know what it takes to actually win a race in this grade and he is marginally preferred to make his hat-trick bid a successful one.
