Verdict
Another poor turnout for an uncompetitive event and if Empire Park stays, he will win. He comes here in good nick having won a similar event at Worcester and has proved he jumps these brush style hurdles. Happy Hussar stays well, but he is better known as a chaser and this will be his first effort over hurdles since April 1999. Doyenne, although second to a useful yardstick at this level on her reappearance, probably needs to step up on that again if she is to have a say in this.
