Verdict
Bajan Desert is stepping up to a mile from 6f. A Redcar second is solid enough form for this level, although he is untried on the AW. Willie Haggas's Duncan Dock is hard to assess. Mister Sweets has been tried at between six and 11 furlongs so far, but this trip might suit given he was staying on well over 6f here last time. Thomas Paine, by Green Desert out of a Nashwan mare, would not have to be exceptional to feature here. Watch for market moves. Exclusive Academy's best run came at Wolverhampton last time over an extended mile (Collier Bay's half-brother Young Collier and Isle Of Mull well behind). That was his first run since coming over from Ireland and, now acclimatised and wearing first-time blinkers, he gets the TEAMtalk vote. Dominion Rose cost around 60,000 euros but her form - at distances between 8 and 12 furlongs - has tapered off after early promise. Goodbye Mrs Chips is another to have shown early promise but, overall, looks modest. Play Misty has placed efforts at Lingfield over 7f and 10f but, again, her overall form is modest, even though this trip could prove to suit her best. Pocket Style (having her first run on the AW) is another whose early promise has not been fulfilled.
