Verdict
This should not take too much winning, comprising as it does of mostly uninspiring sorts against one or two with the potential to improve. Into the former category fall the likes of Arabin, Kama's Wheel and Mr Uppity, although the latter did not shape too badly last time out. Gerard Butler is double-handed with College Song and Beauchamp Rose, and with Eddie Ahern on the latter, she is preferred of the pair. Mystery Mountain should be noted if the market speaks in her favour, but the one to be on is definitely Paradise Eve. This cheaply bought filly shaped with promise on her debut at Catterick last May but did not see the racecourse until turning up over the course and distance at the start of the month. She gave the odds-on favourite Sea The World a race, and was expected to as she was backed from 8's to 6's despite her long absence. The daughter of Bahamian Bounty will have come on a lot for the run, and with her inside berth no hindrance, should give trainer David Barron another winner on the all-weather under Dean McKeown.
