Verdict

Port Soif is proving a different animal on this surface than elsewhere having won both starts over track and trip but she hasn’t raced since scoring here in March and runner-up Cockney Boy may well reverse running partnered by a leading amateur in Serena Brotherton. BOOTS AND SPURS has failed to win so far this year but has tumbled down the weights as a consequence and after placing here last time with Majeste well behind, Scott Dixon’s charge is fancied to come out best. Molten Lava went close at Lingfield recently and can figure if handling the Fibresand and the same comment applies to Caribbean Spring, who has done all his winning at Wolverhampton so far.
