In depth
Verdict
Cold Harbour won over 1m3f here before well beaten at Doncaster and is preferred to Foresee, having his first start after a wind-op with headgear added. It was soft going when Irish mare Phebes Dream won at Galway in October and she may handle the surface while Alan King has a fine strike rate on the Fibresand and Lzaaz could show a big improvement. But BASILDON finished runner-up over a mile here in between poor efforts elsewhere and gets the vote to go one better over today’s longer trip given Brian Ellison’s charge won a bumper on the all-weather at the start of the year.
