Shifting Gold hasn't raced since scoring over C&D in April when he had a couple of today's rivals behind. Three White Socks finished runner-up on that occasion and he subsequently beat Veloso here before the latter took his turn to win over track and trip in an amateurs' race. MEDITERRANEAN SEA was beaten a length behind Shifting Gold in that April contest but, back at this track for the first time since, she's fancied to reverse running on better terms with Darren Egan's 5lb claim further helping her cause.
