In depth

Verdict

Sheriffmuir has returned a losing favourite in all five outings so far after placing at Wolverhampton and tries his luck on the Fibresand for his handicap debut. But CHARLIE ARTHUR bids for a hat-trick of course and distance wins raised only 3lb after beating a previous dual winner here last week and Richard Hughes’ charge may prove the one to side with. Makambe remains 6lb higher than when successful here in October while the veteran Mister Music has recorded his last couple of wins in plating races and Chosen World has yet to win over this far.
