        Verdict

        This is a competitive race and many would have chances on their best form, but Gilded Cove, Finger of Fate, Attorney and Far Note look to be main protagonists with the vote going to the first mentioned. The selection is looking to complete a hat-trick of wins and as he is in such great heart at present it seems foolish to try and oppose him. This is more competitive than his recent assignments but he still looks to be fairly well treated and he will certainly be there or thereabouts. Finger Of Fate is very well treated and could be interesting here as he ran really well in a banded stakes race on this track behind Maromito last time. He was dropped to this trip on that day and if he is supported in the market it could pay to take the hint. Attorney is a game and consistent sort who is sure to run his race, while Far Note is dropped to arguably his optimum trip after a disappointing effort behind Raymond's Pride at Newcastle last time. This is not an easy race to predict but Gilded Cove is in good form and is put forward as the one to beat.
