Verdict
Speed Dial Harry should be too good for his rivals here with Smiddy Hill and Maureen's Lough put forward as the main dangers. The selection has shown promise on both of his starts to date and a reproduction of his latest second behind Bigalos Bandit at Redcar should suffice. He will handle the conditions and is a confident choice. Smiddy Hill ran well behind Word Perfect at Ripon on his racecourse debut and he is likely to give the selection the most to do, and he could be interesting if the market speaks in his favour. Maureen's Lough will handle the conditions and she showed promise on her debut behind Little Biscuit at Thirsk last time, so she may well improve. Beverly Beau will have to do significantly better than she did on her debut run to become competitive here, and for the winner we return to Speed Dial Harry.
