Verdict
Forest Air is put forward as the tentative choice to turn over Desert Heat in this wide open class H selling stakes. The selection ran well in a handicap behind Pharoah's Gold at Hamilton last time, and as that was his first run of the season he may be capable of better here. He has the services of Paul Hanagan and could go well at a decent price. Desert Heat is the one our selection will have to beat as he is dropped in grade slightly after running well in a similar race at Wolverhampton last time. He is capable of winning a race of this type but he is no world beater and it might just pay to take him on. Tinian could be capable of going well if he could reproduce the pick of his form from Germany, and he certainly can't be ruled out lightly in this type of event. Sennen Cove has had plenty of chances so is passed over, while Royal Windmill would have a chance on the pick of his form from last year when he won well at Musselburgh in a better race than this, but he has been below his best for a while now and is probably best watched until he offers some signs of encouragement. This is a race that will not take a great deal of winning, and we will put forward Forest Air as our selection.
