Verdict

A tricky opener but Warwick second Bardd is now 0-29 over hurdles and fences. GENEROUS DAY’s latest run at Kempton was too bad to be true and he’s on a decent mark back in the right grade. Cawthorne Lad will be popular having won by more than seven lengths at Stratford, though is 11lb higher now. Percussion is unexposed and was second here in July but hasn’t raced since.
