Verdict

Dinarius ran better when last seen on the Polytrack at Wolverhampton and, given his American pedigree, he should be suited by the Fibresand on his first start on the surface today but preference is for Azabu Juban, who gets the vote ahead of Flagstone. The last mentioned disappointed on his handicap debut when last seen at Hamilton on soft ground in July but may do better on this surface. An Scaribh did not progress as much as may have been anticipated last season, while La Cortezana has given little sign of encouragement in recent starts over hurdles. The vote then goes to Jonathan Jay's Azabu Juban, who has shown a reasonable level of form on the turf and on this surface and she looks the one they all have to beat.
