Verdict
Power Unit gets the vote over Tin Symphony, with Honan the other main player in the finale. Power Unit was successful over the course and distance in April when a break saw him reappear with enough vigour to see off Whispered Secret in a race that was run at a furious pace. On the strength of that he was sent off as market leader at Ludlow last time but could only finish third in a race that was only run at a steady pace. It is hoped then that they will go quickly enough here for supporters of the nine-year-old who bids to give weight away to his eight rivals. Tin Symphony is still a maiden but ran well enough without impressing too much at Worcester. She makes a bit of appeal though, along with Honan. The latter was a beaten favourite at Newton Abbot on his timber debut, but probably found the two and three- quarter mile journey too far. The drop back in trip will help and he can be a danger. Power Unit has already proved himself though and as long as they go fast enough, can prove to be the answer.
