Verdict

The application of both blinkers and a tongue-tie did the trick for Champagne Rian at Doncaster last time. He popped-up at 20/1 but has been raised 9lb for his trouble while Midnight Lira is upped in class off a higher mark after scoring at Taunton. BILLY TWYFORD would have finished a lot closer to the winner at Fakenham with a more fluent display of jumping. But that was only his second start over fences and he looks to have every chance in this with further progress expected. Call Me Vic went close at Wincanton in between a couple of distinctly modest efforts while Bincombe has failed to complete either side of a win at Aintree at the end of last year.
