Verdict

MR MERCURIAL won a point-to-point only nine days ago and went very close when runner-up in one of these events at Leicester before that. The third has subsequently won so Sheila Crow's charge looks worth sticking with in his current form. Can Mestret won at Fakenham on his debut over regulation fences and Mr Satco could go well after a string of placed efforts in novice chases. Indiana Bay, Rye Cross and Ski Sunday were all placed in point-to-points last time with the latter preferred on his earlier third in a hunters chase at Chepstow.
