In depth
Verdict
Only seven runners in this but all would have a chance on their best form. Storm Rising has left Richard Newland, however, having landed a Fakenham claimer and neither Dear Sire nor Jamacho have been pulling up any trees. Cubswin is still 5lb higher than when successful over track and trip last July and hasn’t raced over timber since December. TAKEIT EASY (NAP) has been very progressive and arrives on a hat-trick having won twice at Ludlow. He looks better treated than Midnights' Gift, back over hurdles after falling in a chase at Southwell, and Hooper, who has won his last four races but may have preferred a slightly easier surface.
