Verdict
Power Unit gets the call over Nick The Jewel, with Lightin' Jack and Calon Lan worth considering for place purposes at least. This has quite a competitive look to it in fact, but Power Unit was given a patient ride when scoring at Bangor, and although he will find life tougher as he goes back up the weights, the 10-year-old may be good for another success or two. He is taken to outgun Nick The Jewel who has topweight after beating Nazimabad at Worcester last time. Lightin' Jack could not contain Galtee View at the finish when trying to make all at Huntingdon but should again be in the shake-up with a similar run, while Calon Lan was still in touch when falling four out at Uttoxeter and is another to consider. As we have said, this is wide open, but Power Unit is the pick.
