Verdict

Sufi only won a seller confined to conditional jockeys at Newton Abbot last month. LUCKY LOVER BOY has won three of his last four and was second over a shorter trip here last month. He’s still well treated on his old form, despite a further 4lb rise, and looks more straightforward than Samatian, who has had a wind operation since his third at Exeter in April. Quiet Thunder was a winner over track and trip in June but, like most of the others, hasn’t been in the best of form recently.
