Lunar Crystal, Wheelavit and Polinamix are the shortlisted trio here, with Lunar Crystal taken to continue his winning run. Wheelavit was winning for the first time in a year when scoring at Newton Abbott last time on ground that was quicker than he meets here. His only previous success came on a fast surface so he can be taken on here. Polinamix won successive races before being beaten at odds on at Fontwell last time. He has proved he can handle a testing surface, and runs off the same mark as his most recent success at Wincanton so is capable of going close here. Lunar Crystal's winning form has been in claimers and sellers but he has won his last two contests in good style and will have received a confidence boost. He has won in similar conditions to those he encounters here, and a chance is taken that he can handle this return to handicap grade. Lunar Crystal can maintain his winning ways.
