Verdict

Outsiders have enjoyed a fair record in previous runnings of this prize so we'll hope that we can strike with Boot'N'Toot at the expense of Fuel Cell and Cove Mountain. Boot 'N Toot was once useful when trained by Charles Cyzer and while well beaten at this track earlier in the month, there looks to be nothing of the caliber of Leo's Lucky Man lurking in the wings. Fuel Cell won a claiming hurdle at Wetherby before giving vain pursuit to Flying Grey at Market Rasen. He has obvious claims. Cove Mountain has to overcome a disastarous run at Hereford but she would be very much in plans with back-to-back successes at Towcester and Hereford. Aculpoco Bay has placed on all starts this season but he invariably spoils his chances by running too free in the early stages of his races. President Park has shown nothing on two starts since leaving France. Hear Me Out may have needed a comeback run at Uttoxeter so the market is watched in advance of this engagement. Timmy Murphy replaces a conditional rider in the saddle on Party Palace. Precious Dancer was probably held when coming to grief at Hereford on his most recent start. Plenty of possibles in a humdrum contest and we side with Boot 'N Toot.
