Verdict

Abricot De L'Oasis has gone close the last twice between the flags and is probably the overall form pick. However, he can throw in the odd bad run and BILLY MERRIOTT was well backed at Newbury when only beaten a neck by the once-useful Vivaldi Collonges. Mr Syntax easily won a point-to-point just over two weeks ago but has a mountain to climb against the market principals on these terms.
