Verdict
Receiving weight from all of her rivals Alan King's Aohna has to be respected on her hurdles debut but with a little to prove based on her bumper form we side with WILLIAM'S WISHES, after an encouraging jumps bow, while Mumbles Pier remains of interest on these terms. Judging on the official marks the selection looks well in on these terms receiving weight from all but one of his rivals here despite being the highest rated. On his bumper form that mark looks correct and after placing on his hurdles debut last time out he can build on that. Aohna has some decent bumper form including not being disgraced in a listed event at Cheltenham on his second start. He left that sphere with a victory and with his absence since not too much of a concern he should go well first time up over obstacles. Mumbles Pier has eight pounds to find on the pick according to the ratings but could make experience count to close that gap and Alfie Spinner has shown enough in three starts in bumpers to suggest a challenge. Not an easy start for punters this but William's Wishes just looks the call.
