    Verdict

A very modest finale and NICKY NUTJOB is no more than a token selection. He has at least won recently, beating Bazart by six lengths at Hereford in August. The runner-up is 7lb better off here but has been beaten three times since and isn't improving. Dear Maurice had an entry in the seller at Fakenham yesterday so his participation here must be in doubt, while conditions may not be ideal for Just Beware. Cityar would probably have a chance on his best form but recent efforts have failed to inspire much confidence.
