Verdict

Foxtail Hill got his act together at Worcester last week and pulled well clear. It's no surprise that Nigel Twiston-Davies is turning him out again quickly under a penalty as the handicapper is likely to take a dim view of that performance. This track suits speedy types, however, and CRICKEL WOOD was no slouch over hurdles. If he can translate his ability to fences, he could be one to follow this season. The Fresh Prince has already won between the flags and is another interesting chase debutant, though may do better over a bit further. Satanic Beat has won on the Flat and over hurdles but is probably best watched today as he's on the small side for jumping fences. Bladoun was flattered by his Newton Abbot second and Magic Music Man needs to bounce back from a poor run at Market Rasen.
