College City, Xaipete and Knight's Emperor look the three to concentrate on and the confident vote is given to College City. The selection has won his last two races in good style notably when beating Johnny Grand last time out. Granted this looks tougher but he again has conditions to suit and is taken to win again. Xaipete rates the main danger as he remains on a handy mark and was a fair fifth in a better race behind Tonic Du Charmil but he is becoming hard to win with and for that reason he is opposed. Knight's Emperor is another with place claims on his latest third behind The Mighty Sparrow but that form has since been let down and he is passed over on this occasion. Of the reminder Manoram is another that looks to be on a fair mark despite top weight but he has two ways of running so can not be put forward with any confidence and for the winner we return to the in-form College City.
