In depth

Verdict

Nicky Henderson's useful hurdler, Adjali, also sports said equipment after a desperately disappointing chase run at Worcester when beaten over 70 lengths. Ruthless Article produced a greatly improved effort on his third venture over fences when repelling Presentandcounting at Aintree. He's the one to beat on that evidence but let's give FORECAST the chance to bounce back from his Worcester fall last time as he'd previously looked good when scoring here. Also on a recovery mission is Chapmanshype, who failed to follow up a chasing debut win at Fontwell but should be suited by these conditions and also has cheekpieces fitted for the first time.
