Verdict

Mark Johnston is mob-handed again in a race he’s won five times, though Naamoos looks to have his fair share of weight and is unproven on the ground while Forest Falcon will be racing from out of the handicap along with Fast Steps and Pure Bubbles. Joe Fanning’s mount KING FRANKEL (NAP) may be best suited by underfoot conditions and he’s easily forgiven his latest run at Newmarket where he got upset in the stalls. He’d earlier finished ahead of Alfaadhel at Ascot. Mr Excellency boasts an excellent strike-rate and has already won for Hollie Doyle but a bigger danger may be Patient Dream, who won on soft going at Windsor last month. Aerion Power is preferred to Taraashoq of the remainder.
