Verdict

Flash Tommie easily landed a course and distance handicap before a very poor run at Wetherby. NOBLE FRIEND has been winning minor handicaps over shorter trips but looked certain to be suited by further when beating tonight's rival Marie Des Anges at Fontwell and can defy a 7lb rise. The veteran Porters War has been running well over slightly further though is now on a high enough mark but Lucky Landing has to be respected despite a big weight as he found the minimum trip too short at Aintree after scoring over 2m4f there previously.
