Turfshuffle was noticeably weak in the market on his hurdling debut at Wincanton and ran accordingly although not disgraced in what appeared quite a decent novice hurdle. Nothing of the winners' calibre appears to lurk in this field, and while he was doing his best work in the closing stages, the two miles should not be an inconvenience here. Lord Crewe, an all-weather bumper winner, showed more promise for his second hurdles outing last time. Outpaced midway through that contest, he was noted staying on in what was an above average novice hurdle for the venue. Sharp Dresser was a well beaten favourite on her hurdling debut with the winner since being beaten. Stamina could have been the issue with that defeat as she appeared to weaken quickly. Caheerloch is an interesting newcomer for the Heather Dalton yard. A smart handicapper on the level for Dermot Weld, it does not bode well that his former trainer decided to let him go with his good record of making the successful transition with his charges but Caheerloch does possess some class. David Pipes' two challengers both are worth a look in the market. Wolf Warning failed to step up on what was a promising bumper effort on his hurdling debut while Nesotho has been contesting events without winning in the French provinces. Turfshuffle caught the eye when staying on at Wincanton and is selected to land this.
