Verdict
FINISH THE STORY didn't get the chance to finish the race at Lingfield last time when brought down. He was travelling well at the time and, granted normal luck in-running and a conditional's allowance helping his cause, John Farrelly's charge can return to winning ways. Both Kings Apollo and Shanann Star found one too good on their latest starts but that seems to be a habit with them and Merchant Of Milan looks a bigger threat on his second at Huntingdon last month. Edeiff's Lad made the frame over these fences recently and chasing debutant Mr McGregor is another to note.
