Verdict

EMERGING TALENT is a bit of an enigma but his best form, including a defeat of the useful Gala Ball at Exeter two runs ago, is head and shoulders above anything achieved by his rivals in this and he should justify short odds. Jamie Snowden sent out last year's winner and runs Ebadani, but he weakened quickly last time at Huntingdon. Mikey Legg's claim should help bumper winner Mr Kite and he can make the frame while My Anchor reverts to novice company after a couple or runs in handicaps. Bestwork D'olivate won over fences in the French Provinces last year but has his first start today for Martin Hill.
