In depth

Verdict

Harringay finally got her head in front last time and she can follow up this afternoon, Fountain Crumble and Makeabreak look set to fight out the places. Henrieta Knight's yard isn't firing on all cylinders at present, but the selection certainly seemed to be when hacking up at Ludlow three weeks ago. This race is probably slightly tougher but if running up to the same standard today she should be good enough. Makebreak is from a yard amongst the winners and she should improve for her seasonal debut at Worcester. However a bigger threat to the selection may come from the Paul Nichols trained Fountain Crumble, an impressive bumper winner, who will have learnt a lot on her hurdles debut run on boxing day. Quotable and Stocking Island have also hinted at ability and may do best of the rest, but if Harringay is in the same mood as last time she will be very hard to beat.
